Traveler’s Probiotic is a comprehensive formula combining the full spectrum of species included in Ultimate Acidophilus as well as Saccharomyces boulardii. This product is intended for use by individuals who are traveling to areas where infectious gastroenteritis, also known as “traveler’s diarrhea,” is endemic. This product retains its effectiveness even when left unrefrigerated up to one month. It may be taken for two weeks prior to leaving in order to inoculate the digestive tract, for the duration of the trip, as well as for two weeks upon return.

Cautions and warnings: Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you have nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, or severe abdominal pain. Discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhea) occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days.
Contraindications: Do not use if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment). This product has come into contact with milk and soy. Do not use this product if you have a milk or soy allergy.
