Suggested Use
Adults: Take 3½ teaspoons (10.1 g) daily on an empty stomach or 15 minutes before a meal, or as directed by your health-care practitioner. Take with plenty of water (4–6 glasses). If you are taking antibiotics, take this product at least 2–3 hours before or after them.
Duration of use: Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 1 month.

Cautions and warnings: Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you have any type of acute infection; if you are undergoing hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or taking birth-control medication or prescription medications; if you have diabetes or galactosemia; if you have nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, or severe abdominal pain; if you have allergy to latex or fruit (such as avocado, banana, chestnut, passion fruit, fig, melon, mango, kiwi, pineapple, peach, or tomato); if you have gastrointestinal lesions/ulcers, are taking anticoagulant agents, anti-inflammatory agents, or other enzyme products; if you are having surgery; if you have a liver disorder; if you have an iron deficiency; or if you are taking other dietary supplements. Discontinue use at least two weeks prior to surgery or dental procedures to prevent the risk of bleeding. Discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhea) occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days. Discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness, and/or loss of appetite. Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with green tea extract–containing products have been reported.
Contraindications: Do not use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives, or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance; if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, or a kidney or cardiovascular disorder; if you are taking health products that affect blood coagulation (e.g. blood thinners, clotting factor replacements, acetylsalicylic acid, ibuprofen, fish oils, vitamin E), as this may increase the risk of spontaneous bleeding; after recent surgery; if you have a known allergy to grass or flower pollens, bees, or bee products; if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment); if you have a history of systemic lupus erythematous; or if you have a history of asthma.
Known adverse reactions: Hypersensitivity/allergy, headaches, heartburn, and bloating have been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea have been known to occur, in which case discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner. Stomach/abdominal pain has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner. This product has come into contact with milk and soy. If you have a milk or soy allergy, do not use this product.
