Frequently Asked Questions
What makes this webinar series different from other lectures?▶
This webinar series is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge across various aspects of a specific topic within a CE-based and therapeutic-focused format.
The CE-based portion offers an in-depth exploration of oncology fundamentals, serving as a refresher on the basics of cancer pathophysiology, including key concepts like angiogenesis, immune health, and their clinical relevance in integrative practice.
The therapeutics-focused portion aims to translate this scientific knowledge into practical applications within a clinical setting. It addresses common patient questions about natural product use and lifestyle behaviors during and after conventional cancer treatments.
Why would the series help me if I do not see patients with cancer?▶
NDs and integrative practitioners with a general practice strive to support patients holistically, considering the whole person rather than just the diagnosis. This series emphasizes guiding and supporting patients with a cancer diagnosis in their overall health and well-being, rather than directly treating cancer.
Recognizing that cancer patients have unique needs requiring specific knowledge from their providers, this series aims to equip you with the essential insights needed to be ‘oncology-informed.’ Our panel of experts will address the most common questions encountered in primary care, empowering you with the tools and understanding to better support your patients on their journey.
Why are NFH and Vitazan leading this series?▶
Our panel of experts brings extensive experience in integrative oncology through their naturopathic training and focus, having worked with numerous patients and observed clinical responses to supportive care. This series was developed with the understanding that primary and holistic health care providers will encounter cancer patients in their practice. Our experts are here to provide valuable education and peer support to help guide practitioners in offering informed and compassionate care.
NFH and Vitazan are a manufacturer of premium, professional grade natural products that are trusted by health care providers because of our quality manufacturing, evidence-backed research, and clinical working group.
